What Is It? A song video with footage from The Young Ones to the Offspring's cover of 'Smash It Up' (originally by The Damned, who, incidentally, were on the episode of The Young Ones 'Nasty' performing a completely different song).
Why Was it Made? I love The Young Ones, Vyvyan is my favorite character and he smashes things A LOT. But really, everyone on the show is always smashing things. I noticed this and remembered that I'd always wanted to do a song video to 'Smash It Up' and, much as I love The Damned, the cover is much more 'vidable'.
Created/Edited With: DVD footage ripped to MPEG4 via Handbrake, converted to DV via QuickTime Pro and edited in Final Cut Pro HD
